Two
items of juvenilia marking Gould's swan
song. This album, made in RCA's Studio A
in New York on 3 September 1982, is
Gould's final recording on the piano.
Three-and-a-half weeks later, on 27
September, he suffered a stroke and was
taken to Toronto General Hospital, where
he died on 4 October 1982 at 11:30 in the
morning.
